The report tool is something I actively DON'T want to be used. I want it to be used when it needs to be used. NGL @X3R0 Ring has been a bit of a troublemaker with certain rules and I've had to fix those. Wasn't happy about it so when I open my alerts to 15 reports about them I immediately roll my eyes and huff with frustration only to see the 3 reports like this. I've not even opened the next 12. I assume they're the same. @Unabashed Hermaphrodite I'm not here to handle your interpersonal disputes. If X is crowding out your discussion then take it to privates or better invite an army to Metokur Forums to shout X360 out. Then they can invite over an army and we can have a massive sperg war and it will be funny for everyone but this shit is making this my issue so PLEASE don't, otherwise I'm going to start messing with people. I already set up some user groups with restrictions to mess with problem users who can't handle their junk. Not mad but its more of a "bruh" moment. I can get wanting to involve me for fun or whatever but this isn't it dood. ANYWAY that out of the way I'm going to start doing some work on the site again. I found some xenforo tutorials and I wanna try some of that out AND I got rejected for an academic thing I REALLY wanted so I've been in a big fk it all mood but this Kino Casino crash has kicked my troll ass into gear so I wanna keep this train moving. With that said go raid discords and chats and screw with people and make sure to tell them Metokur Forums sends their regards.

No. Freedom of speech minded meant he would have taken criticism like a man, instead of banning people. He fucked this own site by being a shit janny who let people blow smoke up his arse, if he actually spent time doing his job, instead of huffing his own farts, none of this would have happened.

yeah. I mentioned Mr. Hatchett, he did that, clear and specific threats actually, and he also ended up with a knock at his door. We are obligated to report that kind of shit. You wanna call someone whatever slur, go for it, but threats, and other illegal content(by US standards, I get in EuroPoor-istan and BritBongia "hate speech" is a crime but we don't really care, lol) get reported to Law Enforcement because we aren't aiding and abetting criminality here, and we want the site to stay up.

That said, its a gray area, slippery slope kinda thing. The idea is I don't wanna ban anyone, Fembot, same. Just have a spot to hangout and shitpost about retards on the interwebz. As far as I am aware no bans have been issued, ever, and if we had our way none ever will be.

Only reason I said that is because there's only like a few photo's of josh and he has no face videos like at all. Does he act like a emo bitch when he post yes, can we make fun of him? yes. But to act like we have a daily library of photos and video's of what he does to make fun of is dumb. To call him a lolcow degrades the name of lolcows.......Josh is an emotional emo bitch but we dont have endless pictures and photos of him like all the other lol cows.....

I've mentioned a few times, not even antagonistically, that I don't GET the rules on the farms. It struck me as more about a sort of conformity to their culture, like 4chan, but the chans enforce that mostly organically peer to peer, whereas the farms is more a top down approach and often people get banned, muted or whatever completely by accident.

Example: Genius Anus AKA Elric of whatever. So he has a working relationship with the Vickers, not sure the extent of it, and he would leak stuff or whatever whatever, not sure didn't follow every bit closely. But because Josh and some mods didn't like how he was leaking ragepig related info, they banned him and labeled him an outsider. So, couple problems here: Don't know who became arbiter of how one publishes information they obtain. They couldn't get it because they shit all over Vickers, but they didn't like how he handled it? Too bad, cry me a river. Regardless, this is the kind of thing i mean when i say I don't GET their rules and how they operate.

Is that a criticism of Josh? I suppose so. But more to the point its why I am here and only ever lurked on KF. I got the rules here lol.
 
For me personally. I have only lurked there since 2018 and never posted anything until this year.
It seems more centralized than anything else I've been on and engaged with. I also don't like the reaction system because it seems to trust the base members to use it responsibly, which they mostly don't.
I also remember complaints about people's articles being completely wiped for no reason at all. It just seems there's a disconnect between the regular members and the site's staff.
That's my take, at least.

Again, maybe, but they weren't expressed well, to put it mildly. All I know is, I saw people get banned for "self promotion" and "not leaking things the right way" and other stuff that's kinda.......whatever, he can run his ship any way he wants but I had no desire to post and get banned for some unwritten rule all the jannies agreed on.

I'm not even going to say what we're doing is better, or worse. It's just more to our tastes, which is mostly a free for all. Will someone "cross the line" and people demand they get banned? 100%, that always happens lol. Already did to be honest, as mentioned with Mr Hatchett and his dox profile lol. He's not banned tho, he just won't use that profile and he cried all over twitter about it. I figure the boss handled that one perfectly.

Again, being an Articles and News type primarily, knew of few bans in that area. May well have happened in other areas, though. I don't demand anyone be banned; if not happy with someone just put them on ignore.
