We don't have to do shit. Ralph is going to very quickly attract some malicious people who will legitimately fuck with him. Nick is tethered to his side because if nick decides to cut Ralph loose, Ralph will just say that one mr. krabs account was his account.

Nick will claim slander but the truth very clearly doesn't matter anymore because you have made Ethan Ralph your henchman. What a fucking terrible idea this was and it blows my mind that Nick has fucked himself this hard
