Being an h00j fan of Gothic Rock, I figured that I'd make this thread.

I suppose I'll start with one of my personal favorites of all time: Bella Morte. A Gothic/Darkwave/Emo/Rock band from Charlottesville VA.

Goth is a very acquired taste. South Park memed on it pretty hard.

One thing about Goth as a genre is that it was essentially "stillborn" or "DOA" because... I mean, really it's all brooding and separated from the rest of the genres under the punk subgenre. Besides, to claim it was dead on arrival is totally goth in istelf. XD

The only goth? Song I know is one my parents played a lot they liked called black parade. I think it's goth. Fk if I know.

Ehhh, that's a little more Emo core punk rock. But genre is really just a label to help people find music they may like based on similar aesthetics. Emo is technically related to Goth as they're both descendent of Punk rock.

Either way: it's cool. I do enjoy emo.

Afterall I... Literally am an aging emo/goth kid... X_x

HERE'S MORE GOTH!

Well, technically a subgenre of a subgenre of a subgenre-you get where I'm going with this... It's technically "Aggrotech", which is prety much Goth's loud scary Raver cousin.

Under The Gun by Sisters of Mercy. The guest Vocalist is Terri Nunn of Berlin fame.

Fun fact: Nunn auditioned for the part of Princess Leia in 1977's Star Wars.

Beware those who fight monsters... I realized just today that if I don't stop fighting when it's no longer needed... I may become...
The Thing I Hate.
This is Stabbing Westward.

Fun fact: this song appeared in the intro cutscene in Duke Nukem: Time to Kill on the Playstation.

When friends turn on eachother-powerful friends, friends with more friends... Sometimes wars happen. And when wars happen sometimes it leaves Cities in Dust
This is Siouxsie And The Banshees

It's a shame when friends turn on each other... Seems like the setting of a sun. End of a day. We'd call that... Nocturne.|

This is Paralyzed Age.

No dramatic "if I was a radio personality" introduction here other than this. This is a classic that was considered a "Goth Anthem"
This is "Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus.
