I kinda wanna clear this up. Section 230 protects me from defimation suits and other lawsuit related shit BUT its on a bases it is a website "of good standing" insoas I keep NSFW and gore and shit kids shouldn't see either off site entirely or behind a paywall which is why I do take issue with that.
As for "fedposting" I want to like be more specific.... 230 protects me from civil action AKA lawsuits, nothing provides me from any protection if a crime, of any sort, is admitted on this site or even the intent to. The way its been explained to me is if its a possible crime or someone intending to then I'm duty bound to report it and save the info for police. If I fail to then they can literally charge me as an accomplice or worse charge me for allowing a space for the facilitation of crimes. Thats why I take that kind of thing EXTREMELY seriously. There is shit now I've had to submit to police. If any of you guys say "hehe I'm committing this crime" joke or not, no matter how obvious it is as a joke, my hands are tied at that point and I HAVE to submit it to police to protect myself.
Like I have extremely limited rules and all of them are there for a reason and none of those reasons are because I don't like this or that, its all because its stupid legal shit that is a risk to me.
