I wanna make this post in response to the posts here by Mike (X360). Not sure if they own the site onionfarms or are just a user. They liked to show the inactivity (not because it was work time or anything) of the site to laugh at it being "dead"
This is gaslighting and let me display why using the site I legit was asked if he minded if he shilled, I didn't, Onionfarms.com.
Doing a simple check we can see their site was launched over 3 years ago.
Despite the age of the site they have only got 1000 users
Meanwhile my site is less than 4 months age, has 1/4 of the userbase, and is ran by someone who legit has no idea what they're doing.
Not to mention OnionFarms is a professional endeavor with a profit goal ran on a .com domain which let .e assure you is REALLY expensive. That's why I went with .us as it was hundreds less.
As for me and this site I was/am a shitposter with some extra cash who wanted to make a shitposter site with no goals to make this into a personal bank.
Not to crap on onionfarms. It is a far more professional site and seems to be ran by people who know what they're doing. I for one don't see a competition but a friendly co-existance; not just with onionfarms but kiwifarms a every other forum because frankly I don't have a goal: not money, users, fame, etc. I'm just here to have fun.
As our site has become a constant topic of debate there I feel the fire in myself to beat our chests back at them as they insult us and their users sign up HERE to subvert people from this "dead forum"
So to address a comment mike made: "if the forum gets big I'll keep it running" I said which he replied snootaly "if" as if there is no chance
IF the site continues along the same growth line as it has which is the base minimum.... Well we will have 3x the users in the same period of time. So we are doing fine here and we will continue to grow.
I do appreciate the consistent discussion about this forum; you drive up sign ups and discussions and so on. I don't mind sharing in that as well. I don't mind people going to other sites. If it spreads places where we can talk freely in the face of an outrageously censorious bureaucratic hellhole then it was worth it.

His comments legit got me down and dropped my mood because it was rude and mean and insulting but checking the numbers I feel we're doing just fine chudbuds. We all gotta start somewhere and yeah all websites start small but given time we will be right up there with the boomer sites and if I just go by what we got now we're are already getting far along.
