Would flowing comments annoy you?

Its been a little of an adjustment moving to the US in several ways. One of the sites I really enjoyed in japan was niconico tho they renamed it now. Its just generalize jp vids. I was so used to "flowing comments" that I was so offput not seeing them on screen. What I'm trying to describe is comments left are allowed to flow across the video at the time the author posts. I will include a video like this if you want to see if you'd like or hate this. I picked one that has an english focus. IDK if you will see them on an embed play just as a warning.

I always liked it lol you can see the comments without literally scrolling below the video and if you see a comment you want to respond to you could literally have a flame war on the video XD

I mean we could adapt to flowing text...but I-it's a bit off putting in my view.
